The oldest golf course in Normandy, founded in 1897

Founded in 1897 by a British colony drawn to the charm of Dieppe, Dieppe-Pourville Golf Club is a true pioneer of French golf. It is the oldest golf course in Normandy and the seventh oldest in France. Nestled between the sea and dramatic cliffs, this emblematic site is now regarded as a jewel of France’s golfing heritage.

A course designed by Willie Park Jr., a legend of the game

The original course was designed by Willie Park Jr., one of the very first professionals of modern golf and a two-time winner of The Open Championship (1887 and 1889). Architect of more than 170 courses worldwide, he created here a spectacular top-of-the-cliff layout, both demanding and inspiring, where each hole offers a different view and a genuine technical challenge.

A spectacular setting on the cliffs of the Alabaster Coast

Located between Dieppe and Pourville-sur-Mer, Dieppe-Pourville Golf Club overlooks the white cliffs of the Alabaster Coast, a landscape that inspired renowned artists such as Claude Monet and Georges Braque. The setting is truly unique: sweeping views over the English Channel, where sky, sea and light meet, shaped by sea spray and coastal winds.

A welcoming clubhouse, blending tradition and modern comfort

Recently renovated, the clubhouse welcomes golfers in a warm and friendly atmosphere, true to the spirit of the venue. The Dieppe-Pourville Golf Club association proudly maintains a long-standing tradition of elegance, conviviality and shared values, which has defined the club’s identity for over a century.
